Your mission

We are looking for a professional to join our Chromatography Laboratory within the Laboratories Department.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities be?

  • Provide technical services and consultancy to clients.
  • Ensure the proper operation of laboratory equipment, including performing or supervising preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Prepare technical reports.
  • Validate and/or verify analytical methods.
  • Participate in internal and external ISO/IEC 17025 audits.
  • Participate in R&D projects as a member of research groups or as a Principal Investigator.
  • Participate in and/or lead technical and commercial visits.
  • Contribute to dissemination activities, including technical seminars, conferences, and technical articles for newsletters and industry publications.
  • Deliver and participate in training activities related to your area of expertise.

Your profile

  • Ability to work in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories.

  • Ability to develop and validate analytical methodologies.

  • Ability to identify clients' expectations, proactively detect potential issues, and provide the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs.

Minimum B2 level of English and B1 level of Spanish. Additional languages will be highly valued.

Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
Valid Category B driving licence.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related field.

Postgraduate studies in Analytical Chemistry and/or Chromatographic Techniques.

Knowledge of plastic materials characterisation will be considered an asset.

Additional Qualifications:

A Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in Analytical Chemistry and/or Chromatographic Techniques will be considered an asset.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    Experience in liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS, QTOF).

  • Proven experience and expertise in chromatographic techniques, including liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry.

  • Experience participating in R&D projects.
