Pilot Plant Assistant

Your mission

We are looking for a person to develop experimental tests in pilot plant supporting the different departments of the Technology area. 

What you will do:

  • Preparation of machine tests, assembly of polymeric materials processing equipment, compounding, extrusion and necessary auxiliary equipment.

  • Process control in pilot plant equipment. Performing tests and recording and documenting them.

  • General maintenance of the equipment in charge.


Your profile

High analytical skills, organization, planning, initiative, creativity, flexibility, adaptation to changes, customer orientation, leadership skills, teamwork and vocation for people (cooperation and empathy) are elements that we look for in any position in AIMPLAS. 

 

Education required:

Professional Education Certificate in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, Industrial Chemistry or similar.

Demonstrable medium/high level of English.


Experience in: 

  • Experience working in a compounding or extrusion companies as a compounding or extrusion specialist. 

  • Knowledges in maintenance, repairing, installation and start-up of associated industrial equipment (both compounding and extrusion equipment and processing of polymeric materials, as well as auxiliary equipment such as temperature control units, dosing units, handling robots, etc.).

  • Knowledges in maintenance, mechanics, electricity and/or electronics.

  • Knowledges of extrusion/compounding process.

  • Knowledges of polymeric materials processing.
