R&D&i Project Manager (d/f/m)

Your mission

We are looking to hire a professional for the Project Management Department. Candidates must have previous experience in drafting R&D&I project proposals for public funding calls.

  • Integration into a dedicated working group for each project, sharing responsibilities with a Principal Investigator (responsible for the technical aspects) and an Administrative Project Manager (responsible for administrative matters).
  • End-to-end project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Identification and acquisition of clients/partners.
  • Commercial activities, including visits to pre-identified clients. Involvement in commercial campaigns promoting R&D&I funding instruments.
  • Compliance with AIMPLAS internal procedures related to UNE 166002 certification.
  • Presentation of projects to clients and public funding bodies.
  • Drafting and/or supervision of project proposals.
  • Governance of projects during both proposal and execution phases: ensuring compliance with commitments made to clients and project partners.
  • Project closure and supervision of technical and financial reporting.
  • Monitoring project expenditures (working within the AIMPLAS ERP system).
  • Identification of exploitable R&D&I results and their transfer to companies.
  • Management of privately funded industrial projects.

The successful candidate will report to the Project Management Directorate and to the managers of national and international projects. Operationally, they will be assigned to a working team led by a coordinator.




Your profile

We are seeking one candidate, preferably with previous experience or strong capabilities in the management of R&D&I projects.

  • Desired experience:
    Experience with the main public funding instruments is required, including:


    • European Commission programmes (Framework Programmes, LIFE, etc.)
    • Spanish General State Administration funding schemes (CDTI and Ministries)
    • Valencian Regional Government funding bodies (IVACE, AVI, and others)

    • Experience using public funding management platforms will be highly valued, including:

      • Funding & Tenders Portal
      • eProposal (European Commission)
      • Facilita (Government of Spain)
      • CDTI platforms
      • IVACE and AVI platforms (Generalitat Valenciana), among others
    • Desired qualifications:

      • An official or officially recognised Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required.
      • Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish.
      • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
      • Knowledge of UNE 166002 standard.

    • Technical competencies: The following will be highly valued:

      • Experience across the full lifecycle of R&D&I projects.
      • Commercial skills, including management of an annual company visit plan.
      • Experience leading projects involving large consortia.
      • Knowledge of ERP systems such as Navision or Business Central.
      • IT skills: minimum required level is intermediate.
