Plastics Mechanical Recycling Specialist

Your mission

We are looking to hire two professionals to join our Mechanical Recycling Department within the Technologies area.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Project writing and proposal development
  • Execution of work in the recycling pilot plant
  • Delivery of training courses
  • Client interaction
  • Advisory services for companies
  • Participation in outreach activities and national and international events

Your profile

Strong analytical skills, organization, planning, initiative, creativity, flexibility, adaptability to change, customer orientation, leadership abilities, teamwork, and a people-oriented mindset (cooperation and empathy) are qualities we seek in all positions at AIMPLAS.

Required education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences
  • Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering

Additional qualifications:

  • A specialized Master’s degree in plastics will be considered an asset
  • Demonstrable high level of English

Experience in:

  • Experience in the field of plastics recycling across different sectors (packaging, automotive, etc.)
  • Experience related to waste management, mechanical recycling processes, plastics processing (extrusion, compounding), and knowledge of legislation related to recycled plastics will be considered an asset
