Your mission
We are looking to hire two people for the Chemical Recycling section in the Technology area. Candidates must have experience in drafting R&D&I projects, knowledge of chemical processes, and waste management to perform the following tasks:
- Continuous updating of the state of the art in chemical recycling technologies.
- Technical development of R&D&I chemical recycling projects at laboratory and pilot plant scale.
- Teaching courses, both open and tailored, related to the subject.
- Participating in scientific dissemination activities, technological foresight, outreach, and communication.
- Attending and participating in seminars and conferences.

High analytical skills, organization, planning, initiative, creativity, flexibility, adaptation to changes, customer orientation, leadership skills, teamwork and vocation for people (cooperation and empathy) are elements that we look for in any position in AIMPLAS.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Sciences, Environmental Engineering, and/or Chemical Engineering, preferably a PhD.
- High level of English (a level test will be conducted).
Experience:
- Experience in drafting R&D&I projects.
- Knowledge of plastic waste management and applicable legislation in this area will be valued.
- Expertise in the following areas: chemical processes, physical and chemical characterization techniques, and result interpretation.
- Experience in experiment design, chemical recycling in general, and the use of high-temperature and high-pressure reactors.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Process simulation software knowledge.
