Your mission
We are looking for a professional to develop the preparation and execution of R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis and testing, technical advice) and technical training for companies in the Sustainable and Future Mobility section, in the Technologies area. Our main R&D lines are based on technologies for lightening the weight of vehicles, smart composites, materials for LIB housings, hydrogen tanks and electromagnetic shielding at 5G frequencies, among others. The department works in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, naval, railway, space and defence.
What you will do:- Provide services and advice to external and internal customers.
- Coordinate and collaborate with different AIMPLAS departments.
- Drawing up state of the art reports.
- Prepare bids, work proposals.
- Prepare project proposals according to institutional templates.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets.
- Carry out technical developments.
- Pilot plant tests (compounding, extrusion, injection, formulation of composite materials).
- Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment he/she manages, including carrying out or supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, internal calibrations, etc.
- Searching for and selecting new equipment and/or accessories according to needs and possibilities.
- Analysing results and drawing up conclusions and reports.
- Presenting results.
- Participate in scientific dissemination, technology foresight, dissemination and communication activities.
Your profile
You have high analytical skills, organization, strong communitation and influencing skills, initiative, creativity, flexibility, customer orientation, leadership skills, self-motivated and able to independently lead, you are a team player, people oriented (cooperation and empathy).Education required:Higher university education, master's degree, preferably PhD in Materials Engineering, Aeronautics, Chemistry or similar.

Experience required:
Knowledge in thermoplastic and thermoset composites and their transformation processes (ATL, AFP, SMC...).
Experience in stress simulation will be an asset, as well as having worked with sectors related to the area. We are looking for a versatile profile with great capacity for business development and experience in the execution of R&D projects.
Experience in sectors related to mobility and transport will be an asset.
Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
B1 driving licence.
