Your mission

In this generic offer, we are looking for people to join us to prepare, develop and execute R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis and testing, technical advice) and technical training for companies.

What you will do:

  • Provide services and advice to external and internal clients.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with different departments of AIMPLAS.
  • Realization of States of the art.
  • Prepare offers, job proposals.
  • Prepare project proposals according to institutional templates.
  • Participate in the realization of the budget.
  • Carry out technical developments.
  • Pilot plant tests (Compounding, extrusion, injection, composite formulation)
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment it handles, including carrying out or supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, internal calibrations, etc.
  • Search and select new equipment and / or accessories according to the needs and possibilities.
  • Analysis of results and drafting of conclusions and reports.
  • Presentation of results.
  • Participate in the activities of scientific dissemination, technological foresight, dissemination and communication.

Your profile

  • You have high analytical skills, organization, strong communitation and influencing skills, initiative, creativity, flexibility, customer orientation, leadership skills, self-motivated and able to independently lead, you are a team player, people oriented (cooperation and empathy).
  • You have a degree, preferably PhD in the related fields: materials engineering, chemistry or an equivalent combination. Additional requirements: valuable specific Master's degree in plastics materials.
  • Fluent conversation in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledges in plastic sectir and their transformation processes (ATL, AFP, SMC...). We are looking for a versatile profile with great business development capacity and experience in the execution of R&D projects.
